Why do immigrants travel abroad? What are the reasons behind there traveling? Which route do they take? Do many of them succeed? These are troubling questions we should before embarking on an illegal traveling?
Illegal traveling into developed countries is a daily act or event. Thousands of illegal immigrants from African travel Europe and America (North America) every year. THE PROBLEM FOR MOST OF African illegal immigrants to reach Canada is that they have to cross North Atlantic Ocean with boat from Morocco border to North America, without determination they will not reach their goal.
Traveling to North America without papers been a source of shame and alienation. The determination of illegal immigrants of making it to their destination is a crime to the North America.
In Europe illegal immigrants are being monitor everyday in the street of London. Nevertheless, illegal immigrants still find their way to enter United Kingdom through illegal means. Illegal immigrants travel about 40 miles in the desert, some die by snake bite, some die as a result of lack of water and the worst part of it is the killing of many illegal immigrants by Spanish border securities.
The illegal immigrants travel the same route ever since this gives the border securities to be alerted. To reach United Kingdom, they have to cross several borders including the African countries to European countries of their wishes. Precisely from any west African countries to Algeria to Morocco, Morocco to Spain to France, from France to United Kingdom and finally to any other country in Europe.
However, those seeking a better life for themselves inside the borders of Spain subject themselves to mortal danger. The travelers encountered brutal and tragic interference from both criminals and corrupt authorities. They faced dangerous obstacles during their trek and a life fraught with various peril once inside the developed countries. Many of them were killed by policemen and hoodlums. Many of them work in about six to seven places which make them have difficult decision to return home to see their family rather sending money home.
This is no reward or recognition for wanting to make a better life for themselves and their families. However, on the arrival the illegal immigrants will live a life of secrecy without a past. No history to complement them. Maybe in future their stories will join the ranks of African pilgrims travel Mecca and Jerusalem to serve God. But for now their journey remains untold, strange and dangerous.
